External testing tools for the current page
I wanted to create a way on my website to directly link external testing tools so that, after being redirected to the respective external service, the URL of the currently viewed subpage is automatically passed to the testing tool. This eliminates the need to manually enter the address each time. The jeznak.com website consists of various types of pages, including individual pages, blog posts, post categories, and different elements integrated into the site. For this reason, it was important to me to be able to easily check any of these subpages when needed and to make the results publicly accessible.
I work as an IT Support Technician and am not a programmer in the strict sense. Therefore, I turned to artificial intelligence for assistance during the implementation. To my surprise, during the successive adjustment steps, previously working elements were occasionally modified or disrupted again. After several attempts and refinements, however, a functional solution was ultimately achieved. I have exercised due care to ensure that the code implemented by me complies with applicable security standards and generally accepted best practices.
Of course, as with all external links, the respective privacy policies and terms of use of the linked external websites apply. The feature is available at the bottom of the page, on the right side (Testing tools).
