Castle of Eger
The local population along with the intrigued tourists are marching up the hill – towards the main gate of the castle in Eger. Members of historical clubs – both men and women – are wearing seventeenth-century costumes today, and some of them are even accompanied by horses.
- The horses rest before the performance at the Eger Castle.
The festival organized here on a hot Saturday afternoon will also provide a special attraction, shooting with muskets – for people only noise, but for dogs a real torment.
- A sign mounted on a wooden castle fence warns: “Loud sound effects! (Hungarian: Erős hanghatások!)”- or just noice.
