Eggenberg Castle in Vorchdorf

The photo shows a brewery building located on a picturesque plateau in the Salzkammergut region, in an almost thousand-year-old castle, which in its present form is a modern, yet subdued arrangement of historical buildings. Its name, Eggenberg Castle (German: Schloss Eggenberg), is also part of the image of a brand with a tradition dating back to 1681 when the beer began to be brewed commercially here.
