1. Data Controller

I operate the website jeznak.com and process personal data solely to the extent necessary for the proper functioning of the site, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Telecommunications Act (TKG 2021).

2. General Information on Data Processing

When you visit this website, only those data are processed that are required for: the technical provision of the website, the security and stability of the server, communication via email. This website does not use: tracking technologies, analytics tools, profiling, advertising or marketing data processing. All processing is kept to the minimum necessary.

3. Domain and DNS Management (Hover / Tucows – Canada)

The domain jeznak.com is registered and managed through Hover, operated by Tucows Inc. (Canada). Within the DNS configuration, only technical data such as: A records, MX records, TXT records, CNAME records are processed. A transfer of technical metadata to third countries (Canada / USA) cannot be ruled out. Legal bases: legitimate interest according to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) used by Tucows as safeguards. No contents of my emails are processed by Hover.

4. Server Hosting (Hostinger – France, EU)

The website is hosted on servers of Hostinger International Ltd., located in France (EU). When accessing the website, the following data are automatically processed in server log files: IP address, date and time of access, accessed page or file, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest in ensuring a stable and secure operation of the website. Log files are automatically deleted when no longer required.

5. Email Communication (Microsoft 365 – EU Data Boundary)

Email communication for piotr@jeznak.com is handled using Microsoft 365 (Outlook / Exchange Online) provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd. Productive email content and contact data are stored within the EU Data Boundary. However, technical telemetry or diagnostic data may be transferred to the United States. Legal bases: Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) under Art. 46 GDPR, Microsoft Data Protection Addendum (DPA), EU‑US Data Privacy Framework, where applicable. Microsoft uses multi-layered security measures such as encryption (in transit and at rest), access controls, and administrative logging.

6. Cookies

This website does not use: analytics cookies, marketing cookies, tracking technologies. Only technically necessary cookies may be used if required for the website to function properly. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

7. No Comments, User Accounts, or Forms

This website does not provide: comment functionality for visitors, user registration or login, contact forms, file upload features. Therefore, no personal data are processed in these areas.

8. Embedded Content

This website does not embed any third‑party content (e.g. Google Maps, YouTube, social media widgets).

9. Rights of Data Subjects
