Rabsztyn Castle
The ruins of Rabsztyn Castle (Polish: Zamek w Rabsztynie), which was one of the royal castles on the so-called Trail of the Eagle’s Nests – a system of medieval castles built or extended mainly in the 14th century, guarding the border of the Kingdom of Poland (the polish state in the period from January 1320 to march 1386). Rabsztyn in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Poland. The name “Rabsztyn” has its origins in the germ. Raabstein (Raven’s Rock).
