Rapeseed field near Dabronc

On my way south, I stopped in the village of Dabronc in Veszprém County to stand by a rapeseed field that was just coming into bloom. The pervasive aroma resembled that of rapeseed oil, though it was less intense. The field was teeming with life – it seemed entirely alive with a swarm of countless insects. In this region, there are many such rapeseed fields; in some places they fill the landscape all the way to the horizon.
