Ksiaz Castle

A monumental castle whose history fascinates such tourists as well as history researchers: Ksiaz Castle (Polish: Zamek Książ; German: Schloss Fürstenstein) in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland.

I was deeply touched by the life story of Daisy Hochberg von Pless, described on a timeline enriched with photographs, exposed in one of the corridors of the palace part. It was the history of the people connected with the castle that made this impression on me, which I expected rather from the architecture itself and other relics of material culture.
