Drive-in Vienna – a coachman in the “Würste’l Waggon”
A coach (German: Kutsche; in Vienna Fiaker) parked in front of a Würstelstand (“sausage stand”) restaurant named “Würste’l Waggon”, with typical Viennese snacks – hot sausage and beer. The coachman (a profession called in Vienna since 1670 also Fiaker) might have ordered take-out, but he decided to go inside, probably to chat with friendly staff and have a cup of coffee before work. Photo taken in the 11th district of Vienna, Simmering.
