Mechanical watches

This facade clock “MeisterSinger” has been installed in Vienna above the showroom of “Uhrmachermeister Mikl” (local business). The company informs on website that it deals only with watches of selected brands and those whose mechanism does not require the use of batteries (mechanical watches). The text “About us” alludes to the preface from the series about Asterix and tells about the conquest of the city by watchmakers and jewelers, which –  in contrast to this company – deals also with quartz clocks.
