Pottendorf Castle (ruins)

This ruined Pottendorf Castle (German: Schloss Pottendorf) – is situated on an island flanked by the Fisza river canal, in a captivating park that was awarded the status of a natural monument in 1979. Although the condition of the building does not allow to visit both Romanesque towers and the palace part, a walk around centuries-old trees and the sound of water dammed up on a certain section fully satisfy a nature lover.
